Don't skip configuration!
Proper configuration is necessary for accurate readings. Connect to your eGauge meter interface using one of the methods outlined in the previous section and complete the steps in the following sections to configure your meter.
Step 1: Sign in with the username and unique password printed on the label on the side of the meter. Note that usernames and passwords are both case-sensitive and should be typed exactly as printed on the label.
Step 2: Click on the Main Menu button in the upper Left and choose Setup → Other Settings.
You may need to log in a second time to access the classic portion of the eGauge interface for the Installation settings page. Use the same credentials used in Step 1 to log in.
