Each dropdown number in the Sensors section matches the physical Sensor port on the eGauge. Select the model and current rating that match the label on your installed CT. CTid compatible sensors must be scanned.
Setting CTid enabled sensors
CTid
CTid is only compatible with CTid enabled sensors on a current model eGauge meter (EG4xxx or newer). CTs that are not CTid enabled must be set manually. For details, skip down to the next section in this article.
Step 1: Click on the blue CTid button at the top of the Sensors section.
Step 2: If prompted, log into the meter using the credentials printed on the label.
Step 3: Check the ports you would like to scan and click the Scan Checked Sensors button.
Step 4: As ports are scanned you should see any CTid enabled sensors scan with a green check mark:
Step 5: When all ports have completed scanning click Back to Settings to return to the installation settings page where you may manually add any non-CTid sensors that you may have installed. Detected CTid sensors will show in blue.
Manually setting CTs
Step 1: For each non-CTid CT you have installed, click on the dropdown list for that port and locate the installed model in the list.
Supported non-CTid enabled CT models in the dropdown list are arranged by manufacturer, physical opening diameter and then by current rating.
Example: The CT setting: CC ACT 20mm/0.79" 200A is the appropriate setting for a Continental Control Systems branded 20mm 200A AccuCT.
For each port, use the correct setting for the CT that you have installed. If no CT is installed, Choose the blank space at the very top of the dropdown list to mark the port as empty.
Step 2: Repeat step 1 for each port where there is a CT installed.
